Hey,
Finally I post the entry I did for Artstation Challenge – Medieval: Back and Forth.
I wanted to do some adjustments after the challenge, mainly some tweaks on presentation, not on character itself. In the end, Selene didn’t change.
I had to learn a bit of how Niagara work in UE5 to do some FX, but in the end… Niagara didn’t suited me for this render and I had to do everything the old way, with some hand made FX ! But it was quite fun to learn this new tool, that will surely be used for my next personnal project (I hope) !
I did Sculpting/modeling/texturing/posing/Integration (UE 5) of this character.
Once the 3D version was made, I wanted to try some expressions a bit more subtle, and something that could fit a child. Nothing too extreme in one way or another. Not pure anger, or pure joy, just a little medieval brat.
Big thanks to Yuhong Ding who made this wonderful concept !
You can check his work for the challenge right here : ŒUVRE D’ARTMedieval:Back and Forthpar Yuhong Ding

For 3D interpretation I checked a lot for real references and not so much from a game this time.
But The witcher stuff was one of my main references for 3D interpretation (especially Ciri / Triss / Yennefer obviously). From the concept I had a feeling she could suit in this universe.
And if you want to check the evolution of this 3D versions of this concept you can check here :
